This album is an adventure. Once this spell had woven itself firmly into my consciousness after a few listens, I was completely transported (just in time for Samhain, too). Journey between astral smoke-hazed peaks and mist-shrouded valleys, with That Voice, at once earthy and otherworldly, helming the spectral vessel as no other could.

Extremely atmospheric and quite varied, but not as polished as their later work. Still stands well on its own though. At first I was weirded out by the short instrumental tracks, but now I *really* dig them.
